The apricot has a juicy and firm flesh. The pleasant scent they give off and its tasty sweetness together make these fruits one of the favourites ones in summer.

It stands out for its high content in fibre, which improves intestinal transit, and in provitamin A (beta-carotene), of antioxidant action. Its mineral content is not of secondary importance, since it is rich in elements such as potassium and, to a lesser degree, in magnesium and calcium.
