Tangerine
Characteristics:
The tangerine belongs to the group of the hesperidiums. It is the closest citrus to the orange, despite its smaller size and more aromatic flavour. Its pulp is made of a considerable amount of juicy wedges. It is different from the orange since it has a slightly inferior level acidity and a higher amount of simple sugars, besides, it is easier to peel its zest. Its origin traces back to tropical areas in Asia.

Tangerine is made up of vitamins B (B1, B3, B5, B6, and B9 or folic acid), C, and E. Not to mention minerals such as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and selenium.
Its zest is rich in volatile and glucoside oil. It also possesses bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory properties.
